Interesting if you're really into learning more about George Washington. It is, however, a difficult and slow read due to the language used in quotes by Washington and others of the 18th century but also by the author himself.

Summary: "short in depth biography"

This volume gives a short factual bio of the great man. The author dispels some of the myths of the generals childhood and paints a picture of a man who was greater than life. Published in 1922 the book is somewhat dated in language but I believe that the story is told better than it would be by modern revisionist historians.
